Displays put on by the KOS at several shows and events during 2009/10

  This is our display at the 29th annual Ottawa Orchid Society Show in April 2010

  The display was based on a nautical theme and also shows Captain Irina Neverova

   Below is our  display at the 28th annual Ottawa Orchid Society show

   April 25/26 2009

   Our display featured Cajun Joe's fishing shack adorned with orchids.      

Below is the KOS presentation at the SOOS show in Toronto on 25 Jan 2009

The display earned First Place and Best Display of 11 or more plants by amateurs and also 7 ribbon awards 

Here are the three KOS members who designed, transported and erected the award winning display above

They are :  Nalini Stiemerling, Irina Neverova and Tricia Workman all of whom were novices in orchid showing. The KOS is most fortunate in having such talented members.

Note : blue, red and yellow ribbons denote first, second and third class places respectively for plants and also for exhibit.

The KOS also regularly exhibits at the SOOS and the OOS shows.
